Credit Purchases
WaveGen operates on a prepaid credits system. When you purchase a credit pack, you receive points that can be used across all generation tools on the platform.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- Unused credits: If you have not used any credits from your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Service outage: If a prolonged service outage (exceeding 48 consecutive hours) prevents you from using purchased credits, you may request a prorated refund or credit extension.
- Duplicate charges: If you are charged multiple times for a single purchase, we will refund all duplicate charges immediately upon verification.
- Failed generation: If credits are deducted for a generation that fails due to a system error (not a content policy violation), the credits will be automatically refunded to your account.
Non-Refundable
Refunds are not available for:
- Credits that have already been used for generation
- Bonus or promotional credits
- Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Content Policy
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality (results vary based on prompts and models)
- Purchases made more than 14 days ago where credits have been partially used
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us through our contact page with your account email, the date and amount of purchase, and the reason for your request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.
Processing
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to reach out to us directly to resolve any billing issues.
